Wakulla Legacy was born from a simple observation: our community needed quality estate planning services without the drive to Tallahassee. As a division of Gellis Law, PLLC, we focus exclusively on helping Wakulla County residents protect what matters most through accessible, affordable estate planning.
Five years ago, I made the decision to leave the bustle of Tallahassee behind and make Wakulla County my home. Like many of you, I was drawn to our unique coastal community—where morning fog lifts off Wakulla Springs, where neighbors still wave to each other at local businesses, and where generations of families have built their lives along our pristine coastline.
While my primary practice at Gellis Law has focused on complex technology and regulatory matters, I repeatedly heard from neighbors and friends in Wakulla who struggled to find local estate planning help. Too often, I saw fellow Wakulla residents having to take time off work to drive to Tallahassee for basic legal services or, worse, not getting these essential documents in place at all.
Wakulla Legacy was created to change that.
At Wakulla Legacy, we believe estate planning shouldn’t be complicated, intimidating, or require leaving the county. Our approach is built on three core principles:
We offer convenient meeting options throughout Wakulla County—at our office, your home, or even local coffee shops. Evening and weekend appointments accommodate working families, and clear, flat-fee pricing ensures no surprises.
Our deep roots in Wakulla County provide unique insight into the needs of our neighbors. From waterfront property considerations to understanding the local business landscape, we bring a hometown perspective to every client relationship.
We explain legal concepts in plain language, not complex legalese. You’ll leave every conversation with a clear understanding of your options and a plan tailored to your specific needs.
Wakulla Legacy focuses exclusively on estate planning and related services for Wakulla County residents, including:
Every service is delivered with a personal touch that only a fellow community member can provide.
As a local business, we’re invested in seeing Wakulla County thrive. Beyond providing legal services, we’re committed to:
The decision to entrust someone with your estate planning is significant. When you choose Wakulla Legacy, you’re not just getting legal documents—you’re getting a neighbor who understands what makes Wakulla special and why protecting your family’s future matters.
You’re getting someone who might see you at the grocery store, at community events, or on the water—and who approaches your legal needs with the same care they would provide to their own family.
