Sean Gellis

Attorney

As both a neighbor and an attorney in Wakulla County, I bring my extensive legal experience directly to our community. After years of practicing complex regulatory law across Florida, I recognized that my own neighbors deserved accessible estate planning without traveling to Tallahassee. My practice combines deep legal knowledge with genuine care for the families and individuals who make our coastal community such a special place to live.

My Approach to Estate Planning

I believe estate planning should be accessible, understandable, and specifically tailored to each family’s unique situation. When we work together, you can expect:

  • Plain language explanations – No confusing legalese or unnecessary complexity
  • Personalized attention – I take the time to understand your specific concerns and goals
  • Local perspective – As your neighbor, I understand Wakulla County’s unique characteristics
  • Practical solutions – I focus on what works for your family, not one-size-fits-all approaches

Beyond the Office

When I’m not helping clients with their estate planning needs, I’m enjoying all that Wakulla County has to offer. As a devoted father, much of my time outside work revolves around my son and his activities. I maintain an active lifestyle through Muay Thai training and following combat sports.

I’m an avid reader and firmly believe in continuous self-improvement, both professionally and personally. My commitment to physical discipline through martial arts training reflects the same dedication I bring to my legal practice – focus, preparation, and strategic thinking.

Why I Created Wakulla Legacy

After establishing my home in Wakulla County, I noticed that many of my neighbors were either going without essential estate planning documents or driving to Tallahassee for services that could and should be available locally.

I created Wakulla Legacy as a division of my practice specifically to serve our community with the personalized attention and local understanding that only a fellow resident can provide. I believe Wakulla families deserve access to quality legal services without leaving the county, and I’m committed to making that possible.
